The Garb E80/120 with innovative knife adjusting technology and 5 year warranty.

October 6, 2010, SALT LAKE CITY — Garb Oil & Power Corporation (OTCBB: GARB) (OTCQB:GARB) www.garbop.com announces the introduction of its heavy duty, high throughput Secondary Shredders and Granulators, using knife adjusting technology.

Garb John Rossi President states, “We have provided all of our Secondary Shredders – Granulators with semiautomatic, or as an option fully automatic, knife adjustment system. This means the knife can be adjusted during operation without stopping the machine. This procedure leads to a re-sharpening of the knives”. John Rossi further states, “ E-Waste is one of the waste industries most important and strategically essential waste stream. The United States will see a growth in E-Waste, from the current 3,000,000 tons per year to over 10,000,000 tons per year by 2017. Making E-Waste the fastest growth waste stream in the industry. Our Pre-Shredders and our Secondary Shredders provide one of the required technologies to properly manage E-Waste. Over the next few weeks Garb will be introducing our low cost E-Waste plants”

Garb CTO Igor Plahuta states, “To make this happen, we have implemented this knife adjustment system in our secondary shredders in order to ensure a more or less equal rotor knife position in relation to the stator knives. This is very important for wear intensive production such as tire and E-Scrap (E-Waste) shredding, where the knives need to be adjusted 4 times a day which normally creates a downtime of 3-4 hours each day. By this adjustment system we have created a machine with an availability of 95%. In less wear intensive applications like waste shredding, the availability of the machine is more important. Large volume plants rely on the capacity and workability of such machines to sustain throughput and maximize production”.
